Originals are painted on canvas or reverse painting on to acrylic . Reverse painting is an art form consisting of applying paint to a piece of glass and then viewing the image by turning the glass over and looking through the glass at the image. Prints are then produced on canvas, paper and plexiglas. We here at Lisa Fabian Art tend to favor the plexiglas look as it gives a polished finished look. The image is viewed through the glass so there is no need for the additional expense of mounting and framing the work.
